ALAN S. ROSEN, CPA

Alan S. Rosen, a partner with Gerson, Preston, Robinson & Company since 1975, began his career in public accounting over 30 years ago when he graduated from the University of Miami in 1964 with a bachelor's degree in accounting.

In the early stages of his practice, Mr. Rosen was involved in planning and conducting financial audits, preparing financial statements and tax preparation for corporate and other clients at a large national accounting firm. As his career progressed, he managed financial audit engagements with public and private sector companies and took charge of numerous small business clients for both financial statements and tax returns.

Since joining Gerson, Preston, Robinson & Company in 1971, Mr. Rosen has focused his practice in the areas of financial auditing, compilation and review engagements and income tax planning and preparation. His clients cover a spectrum of industries, including real estate, manufacturing, wholesale, retail, not-for-profit organizations, financial institutions, auto rentals, hotels, restaurants, healthcare and professional services. Mr. Rosen is also in charge of professional development and quality control implementation and procedures for the firm. 

He is a member of the American and Florida Institutes of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Rosen and his wife, Marie, have three children.
