DANIEL S. KUSHNER, CPA

Daniel S. Kushner has built a distinguished career at Gerson, Preston, Robinson & Company, representing more than two decades of success and accomplishment in auditing, consulting, litigation support, mergers and acquisitions, and income tax planning and preparation services.

Mr. Kushner earned his bachelor's degree in accounting in 1978 from the Fisher School of Accounting at the University of Florida. The next year he joined Gerson, Preston, Robinson & Company where he began as a staff accountant and later was promoted to supervisor.

When he became a partner in 1989, Mr. Kushner's work in financial audits and compilation and review engagements took on a broader scope, along with his involvement in assisting clients with tax planning, preparation, and the supervision and review of tax returns. Mr. Kushner's practice now encompasses mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions consulting, the delivery of expert testimony and supervision of discovery.

Mr. Kushner's administrative responsibilities include overseeing the operational and administrative management of data essential to the firm. He has earned a reputation for results in industries ranging from healthcare and professional services to manufacturing, wholesale, retail contractors and real estate organizations.

Mr. Kushner is a member of both the American and Florida Institutes of Certified Public Accountants, and a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. He has written articles for Medical Business, a South Florida healthcare professional newspaper.

In addition to his professional affiliations, Mr. Kushner is a member of the Young Presidents Club of the Mount Sinai Medical Center. He and his wife, Sheri, have four daughters.
